Agile teams focus on delivering frequent increments or features that are valuable to their customers. One of the most well-known process frameworks is Scrum, which defines specific events or ceremonies that should run as part of a regular cadence so that the team can maximize their productivity, collaborate better, maintain transparency and develop a culture of continuous improvement.
The Scrum framework acknowledges it can be hard to get these ceremonies right. That is why the role of Scrum master exists - to help everyone understand Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values.
Scrum suggests three roles: the team itself, Scrum Master, and Product Owner. It describes three artifacts: The increment, the sprint backlog, and the product backlog. It also describes five events or ceremonies. The first of these is the sprint itself. The focus of this online agile training is to help you understand, and get the most out of the other four events:
- Sprint Planning
- Daily Scrum (often referred to as the Daily Standup)
- Sprint Review
- Sprint Retrospective
Join HotPMO on this agile training course led by a certified scrum master and learn how proficiency in these four ceremonies will help you master agile development, support your software development team, improve alignment to goals and vision, and accelerate delivery on your agile projects.
